We had some kind of glitch with the Freewebs Host changing over to the new software.... Many sounds are not working - but we found that the files are still good, but that the connection link to them was lost.... So - we are in the process of reconnecting them. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We got a new home page!!!! New content, new reads and more PC tips... PLUS, Gadgetbar has a new interactive feature!!!!! But you can't get that info through the BLOG...... No, you gotta read it on our new home page!!!!
At I.G. Headquarters website - we gave a great deal of freedom to our members by allowing you to enter your own Blogs (As long as they were related to the site content or software content). But it has come to our attention that some of the members have been "PLAGIARIZING" other websites Blogs to use in place of your own. Many sites "Copyright" their blogs - which makes it an illegal act for you to copy someone else's Blog and post it. The fact that whoever was responsible had plagiarized other's Blogs in their entirety.....C'mon!!! WE know that you all have better imaginations than that...We cannot allow this... It hurts to say that one or more of you has ruined it for all - but we can no longer allow Bloggers to create Blogs in addition to our own. From this point on - only I.G. Headquarters and staff are allowed to create Blogs. We will still give our members access to "reply" to our Blogs and give opinions - but no further Blog creations of your own. We will, however, continue to accept Blogs from members via email so that we may proofread them and check them for plagiarism & copyright violations before we consider posting them. This way - we have positive ID on the writer of the Blog and can create better control over copyright violations.... This is the very same reason why we no longer allow members to upload movies to our movie website page anymore - because of the illegal nature in which they were given. We can only link to movies being played on the net - that is why we only accept movie submissions by email now. When members email us with an uploaded movie, we end up sending it back to them explaining that posting it would be a copyright violation. But when members send us links to movies that are already on the net (And that you certify that you were not the one who uploaded it) - then we can legally post the links. We understand how confusing this may seem to some of you, but if you like visiting our site and you like making use of what we have to offer you, then we must adhere to the rules and regulations.
